So, what is this Creative GVL thing anyway?
First of all we’re still figuring out what to call this exactly, but it’s pretty much an "art making get-together." Some draw in their own sketchbooks, others paint on canvases solo or share a larger one with a friend while using the paint brushes and tools available. Some crochet, make jewelry, and others others play guitar and sing maybe even have a jam session! We've also had DJs and spoken word shared.
Not being one to just “hang out”, I figured out through time that I’d get to know people better whilst working with them, and what better way than creating together?

Through playing authentic relating games led by an experienced facilitator, this 3-hour workshop will invite you to explore new ways to relate to others and yourself. “Authentic relating” is a social and communication practice focused on being fully present and transparent with others. Instead of relying on small talk or conditioned social masks, authentic relating games help participants share their real-time, bodily, and emotional experiences to build faster, deeper, and more meaningful connections.
