WHAT:
WHERE:
WHEN:
...is the individuals’ view and experience of the personal and collective becoming, change, growth, transcendence of the ever evolving inner self in connection to or in reflection of the ever changing world around us.
We are all connected to each other and to what’s beyond ourselves, the material and immaterial, however one chooses to see the world. We are twirling with stories of our current human journeys, through a lens we have gathered in our earthly lives, as we float on a living rock within the space of an ever expanding universe. We are individuals, communities, and species. How do we see ourselves and each other? Are we really that much different and separate from one another? Or, are we versions of each other experiencing ourselves in diverse characters? Is the world a reflection of our inner world or are we a reflection of the world around us? 💧Are we the drop or the ocean? 🌊
Come see and share with your fellow humans, neighbors, and friends what differences or similarities our diverse experiences, perspectives and expressions have rendered.
Join us on opening night, First Friday July 3rd of 2026 starting at 6pm, and through all of July till the the last friday the 31st for closing night at the Artistry Gallery on 12 Andrews St. Greenville, SC 29601.

Curating: The Shape of Becoming
I’m a multidisciplinary artist who has worked in a variety of mediums over the years, including writing, acrylic painting, photography, wood burning, and sculptural work. For this series, I’m planning mixed-media pieces that combine acrylic painting with sculptural and dimensional elements.
The work I’m developing explores themes of collective consciousness, connection, separation, rupture, descent, and integration. At its core, it reflects on how we search for ourselves through others, what breaks us open, and how the self is eventually rebuilt into something more whole. Visually, I’m interested in combining figurative imagery with symbolic materials like thread, mirror, relief, and layered surfaces.
Mediums: Writing, acrylic painting, mixed media, sculptural clay, photography, wood burning

Curating: Curious Creatures
For Hanna, the act of creation is a holistic conversation between inspiration and joy. This Greenville native allows the canvas to guide her direction. With a loose concept centered around emotion, she allows acrylics, paint markers, Sharpies, and found items, such as abandoned bird nests, to direct her pieces.
Abby Rose here. My art is evidence of a girl experiencing growing pains in her late 20s (and probably until my death). Trying to keep my empathy and humanity intact as we spiral into facism as a country. Peace and love.
Curating: My Reflections

Curating: So Within
Wes died in 2012. However, after a remarkable revival and countless hours in a hospital bed, he deemed it necessary to express himself by any means, as a hopeful deterrent to alcoholism and addiction. Over the next decade, Wes began to paint and write poetry.

I am lylah and I have been doing art since I was 15, but I have always been interested in art. Growing up around my sister painting on our bedroom floor as she kept telling me to stop watching her, but I couldn't help it, I was so mesmerised. I haven't and didn't paint as much as I want to, yet I am proud of the pieces I have created so far for the most part.

I am fortunate to combine the hobbies of blacksmithing, bone collecting, and thrifting into wearable art. Celebrating 20 years of making jewelry in 2026, I learned to scratch craft jewelry in Latin America, with wire, pliers, and natural treasures scavenged on the beach. Southern Appalachia has brought out the blacksmith and bone cleaner in me, skills I’ve been developing since 2020.
